Ridgedale Senior Adrianna Barnett and Tri- Rivers Junior Jayden Reynolds attended the Waterpark Rampage Vex robotics contest on January 22nd and 23rd. There were 39 High School teams from all over the country. Audrianna wrote the autonomous and driver code and assisted assisted with the design of the robot. Jayden was the primary builder and drove the robot. After 7 qualifying matches Ridgedale team 6302U had a record of 7 wins and 1 loss. Out of 39 teams Audriann and Jayden qualified ranking 4th. After qualifiers 2 teams alliances were chosen. Ridgedale advanced into the semi- finals before being eliminated. Jayden and Audrianna worked on this robot over 5 months. Coach Mr. Sieg was very proud of the accomplishments of the Ridgedale students. Both students helped the teams around them to improve their robots also.
