Good afternoon, Rocket families!
This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility.
Once again, we have many events where you can support our Rockets! It’s homecoming week with a spirit week to celebrate. On Monday, high school volleyball plays at Perry. The elementary PTO has a meeting, and the Powder Puff game takes place on Tuesday. There are homecoming festivities sponsored by the cheerleaders and Coach Smith on Wednesday evening. On Thursday, jr. high football plays at Cory Rawson. High school football takes on Cory Rawson for homecoming on Friday. On Saturday, cross country competes at home for the NWCC league championships, high school volleyball plays at Riverdale, and the high school homecoming dance takes place in the elementary gym. The softball Color Run takes place on Sunday, October 13. If you have not signed up yet, you can register at the event.
We are proud to be a small district doing big things, so be sure to keep up to date with all of the news and events by using our website, Google Calendar, and social media.
Are you looking for a way to give back to our community? We are actively searching for bus drivers to drive regular routes. We can train you for this certification. We are also hiring subs for teachers, food services, custodians, secretaries, aides, and bus drivers. You can apply on our website.
Thank you for all you do for our students, our staff, and our community! Have a great week, and, as always, go, Rockets!
