Good afternoon, Rocket families!
This is Erika Bower, Superintendent of Ridgedale Local Schools, where our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential while focusing on learning, safety, partnerships with our community, and fiscal responsibility. It’s hard to believe the 2022-23 school year is coming to a close so quickly! The last day for students in grades K-11 is Wednesday, May 24. PK students will celebrate their last day on Thursday, May 18. We have many activities coming up over the course of the next two weeks. Be sure to check our website or app for all of the dates and times! Don’t forget to check the Rocket Wrap Up that Ms. Parthemore shares on our website with extra details about what is happening in the elementary!
Seniors, remember that senior exams will be on Monday and Tuesday. The senior class trip is on Wednesday. Senior pictures, BBQ, and walkthrough are all on Thursday. Senior breakfast, awards, and graduation practice are on Friday. Graduation takes place on Sunday, May 21, at 2pm.
Summer Learning Programs are still enrolling! Enrollment forms can be found on the Ridgedale website or the app. Make sure to turn your student's forms in as soon as possible because spots are limited and filling up fast! We are excited to have fun with students this summer while we work to push back the "summer slide!" Students currently in K-2 will enroll with the YMCA program. Students currently in 3rd-8th grade will enroll with Summer POWER Hours. We hope to see you there!
