Weekly Update from Ridgedale Elementary

October 12, 2026

Quick Notes & Highlights

  • We are still passing out prizes for selling mums. There were hundreds of prizes earned, so it takes some time! All prizes should be distributed by this Wednesday. Silly String party will be next week since this is a short week.
  • We participated in the nation Great Apple Crunch this week. Every single student got to enjoy HUGE locally grown apples.
  • Mrs. Gibbs' 2nd grade class got to release a monarch butterfly to begin it's journey to Mexico.

Important Information

  • Boo at the Dale is coming up on Oct. 28th, and we will be having our annual candy collection competition. Look for flyers coming home with your children.
  • If you have not yet scheduled a conference for your child, please reach out to your child's teacher this week.
  • Book Fair will be open this Thursday during conferences.
