Weekly Update from Ridgedale Elementary

August 31, 2026

Quick Notes & Highlights

  • Art students created "Thank You" card art. Some of the creations will become the official "Thank You" card for Ridgedale Elementary.
  • Football players are greeting our students on Fridays. Other teams just might show up on other days too! 
  • If you get a chance, check out the Rock-et Garden outside our north entrance. Thank you to Alyssa Fogle, Teena Kasler, and crew for making this happen!
  • A summer project was moving Ms. Schimpf to the center hall and Mrs. Shumaker's students painting a mural on the wall outside of her office. We are bringing our halls to life!

Important Information

  • Backpack Blessings forms are due by Sept. 18. Contact Ms. Warwick if you need a new form.
  • Power Hours begins Sept. 8th - Get forms in ASAP! 
  • Scouts Meeting - Thursday, September 3rd @ 6:30 - RES Cafeteria
  • See menu for lunch changes this week!

Important dates:
● Kick Off: Monday, August 24, 2026
● Orders Due: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 - All money and order forms must be returned.
Please make checks payable to Ridgedale Elementary PTO
● Pick-up: Saturday, September 19, 2026, 9:30am - 12:00pm
Online sales:
● Visit www.fundraiseit.org → “Online Shopping” → Enter child’s last name, first name,
and school name
● Online sales close Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 11:59pm.
Prizes:
● Sell 1 item - Principal’s treasure chest
● Sell 5 items - Mini squishy toy
● Sell 10 items - Book Vending Machine token
● Sell 15 items - Large squishy toy
● Sell 20 items - Silly String Party
Every purchase supports our students, teachers, and families.
